today is spam-day apparently

+ I just updated all of my sticky posts so that, hopefully, all of my fic is now listed (there are some drabbles written for fic-a-thons that might still be floating free, but hopefully everything else is there now!). Plus, I've got everything longer than (I believe) 500 words up over at Archive Of Our Own, as well.

Whew! I'd forgotten how much trouble that is! Now I'm remembering why I try to do it as I write each fic instead of waiting until I've got a bunch. But if you notice that I've missed anything, do let me know. I like to keep accurate records.

+ I need 10 O’Clock Live to come back right now. I have no idea what’s going on in the UK at the moment, and it’s all because I don’t trust anyone but David Mitchell and Charlie Brooker to tell me the news in monologue form. COME ON. WHEN ARE YOU COMING BAAAACK? It’s been forever since I’ve seen Jimmy Carr dress up in a ridiculous costume and fake a ridiculous accent for no good reason at all. RETURN TO ME.

+ I have written at least 1,000 words for my novel every day so far this month! I am so proud of me! But trying not to get too cocky about it because when you do, the rug gets pulled out from under you, doesn't it?

+ Other than that, my life is predictably boring. Just the way I like it.

I have no idea why people so enjoy seeing him dressed up in silly costumes, but it incredibly entertaining. And he's a good sport about it.

I did have my complaints about the show--I thought they tried to do too much in each episode. Like their little panel discussions--great idea in theory, but just when they got interesting, it was over. Too short by far. They should trade off: in one episode have a panel discussion and make it longer, in the next do one of their interviews with a political figure and make it longer. I think that would help a lot.

But honestly, I'm just there because I love David Mitchell and Charlie Brooker so much.
