Fic that I am seeking
This is a list of things I would like to read but have a difficult time finding. So if you know of anything that meets these requirements, I will love you forever!
+ Martha/Mickey fic. Because I was thinking about how much I love them and how I could have actually shipped them if RTD HADN'T DECIDED TO GO THERE FOR THE SAKE OF A ONE-LINE JOKE when they deserved so much more. Like, something that shows me who they are together and how they work. Bonus points if it includes some actual explanation of what happened to lovely Dr. Tom.
+ Plotty Moffat!era!Who fic. Featuring Eleven and Amy and Rory and River. Anyone know of any? Or, alternatively, any Amy/Rory fic. Basically I love Rory. Current obsession. It's okay.
+ Good 3rd Gen Skins fic. I have zero interest in Mini/Franky, though, which I imagine elminates a lot of stuff that's out there? But any good gen or het stuff would make me happy.
+ Actually, come to think of it, I'd love any good het or gen Gen 1 fic, too, because I never read much of it.
+ I know GRRM ~frowns upon~ fanfiction, but if there's any fic at all with Jon&Arya family times or Jon/Dany shipping, I would read the heck out of it.
+ Is there ANY Kelly Bailey fic out there? I imagine that all of the Misfits fic is either Nathan-centric or Simon/Alisha (fandom, you are so easy to predict). But I am a Kelly stan and would like to read about her.
+ Caroline&Stefan friendship fic? Bonnie/Jeremy anything at all? Elijah/Katherine? Elena/Bonnie/Caroline friendship fic? Damon and Stefan being brothers fic? Basically anything that doesn't involve shipping Elena in some capacity? Because all the TVD fic I've seen (outside comment fic ficlets, which are lovely but short) has been Elena-shipping, and I really have no interest in that.
+ Preemptively asking for X-Files fic. Because I'm only almost through with S3 (I know! I'm moving slowly! But I'm savoring!) but I am eagerly looking forward to reading fic. Shippy, gen-y, whatever. I know there's years and years worth of stuff, but I have no idea where to start looking for the good stuff. Recs?
+ Parks and Rec fic that has the feel of the show.

Thoughts? Feelings? Opinions? ::is nosy::
I want to rec fic, but nearly everything that comes to mind shouldn't be read until you get at least up to S5, and preferably S6. Looking back through the archives now, it seems like S4 is when XF fic really exploded, because that is the season of angsty angst angst.
That said, there is a lot of great fic here. A few that stand out in my memory:
All the Mulders - Post-alien-colonization AU. This is an odd little story, but I've always liked it. Since it's not canon, it could probably be read at any time, but probably best to wait until at least after the first episode of S4.
Sin Eater - True story: This is the first fanfic I ever read! I still think it's pretty good. Not spoilery for anything.
Theory & Practice - Don't read until you've finished S4. Aaaaaangst, but really good.
Pillar of Salt - Set after S5, but I can't remember if it takes the movie into account or not. The first half of this fic I barely remember, but the second half is AWESOME. It's basically the Scully version of "Restless".
I seem to remember most of Rachel Howard's fic as being pretty good, but the only one I clearly remember now is Ask About the Weather, a short post-colonization AU that always makes me cry. Probably best read after S5.
Strangers and the Strange Dead - It's an AU so it could really be read at any time. This is the kind of story where you don't realize how great it is until you get to the end.

THEY WERE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE A ONE-LINE JOKE!!!! :( Having read The Writers Tale I can reveal that they were both going to be in 'Children of Earth', but then both actors became unavailable, and old Rusty was flailing helplessly because his script was now in PIECES and he didn't know what to do. So he was going to tell their story, except he couldn't. *is sad*
Now as for fic I KNOW I've read it, but I'll be damned if I can find any. Will have to come back to you. But I *do* have a vid: Ride. :)

As for The X-Files, I wish I had a Delicious account a million years ago when I first started reading fic for the fandom. I do recommend anything by Prufrock's Love, and Fugues in the Key of X has a pretty incredible recs list.

I haven't really ventured into TVD fanfic, but this is a Caroline fic I enjoyed - its end focus is Caroline/Matt, but there's some Caroline & Stefan (and Bonnie and Elena) friendship in there for you. I'm also fond of this Isobel/Alaric fic.
Also, I'm still too behind on XF to explore all the fanfic, but this one is amusing - Scully and Mulder have to attend a therapy session. They react...pretty much how you'd expect. There are some minor spoilers, so if you want to avoid all of them, I guess you can read it after the (1995) film, though they're more throw away lines to rile the therapist?
Finally, Amy/Rory (or Amelia/Rory) fic pre-canon and up to Amy's Choice <3
