well, la-di-da

I’m…all keyed up for some reason? And bored? So pick one of my icons and I’ll write a drabble-esque thingie for it? Possibly, if I get inspired? I make no guarantees?

Or hey, if you just want to prompt me, I’ll write you a three sentence fic? I don’t even know. Give me things to write and if they strike my fancy I will write them. If they don't, you will be disappointed. Either way, it distracts me.

Have an Andrew icon. Oh, isn’t he pretty?

still more schmoooooop!

Her skin feels like skin, or at least like a woman’s skin—warm and smoother than his, except where pilot training has created blisters and calluses that match his own almost exactly. She breathes and laughs and he’s seen her cry, and they have to stop for her to find a tree to relieve herself behind as often as they do for him, and even though he knows she isn’t human, he can’t bring himself to believe it. Or maybe it’s more simple than that: maybe he just loves her no matter what she is, and he just doesn’t care.

Yay! This is lovely.

maybe he just loves her no matter what she is, and he just doesn’t care.

Yes. This is one of the things I'm loving about them: how he loves her so bravely. He knows what she is and he loves her anyway. Yes.
