well, la-di-da

I’m…all keyed up for some reason? And bored? So pick one of my icons and I’ll write a drabble-esque thingie for it? Possibly, if I get inspired? I make no guarantees?

Or hey, if you just want to prompt me, I’ll write you a three sentence fic? I don’t even know. Give me things to write and if they strike my fancy I will write them. If they don't, you will be disappointed. Either way, it distracts me.

Have an Andrew icon. Oh, isn’t he pretty?

Her looks are a double-edged sword: on the one hand, no one ever forgets her, and she’s always the first one her bosses call on to “be the face” of whatever cause they’re currently touting on the talking head shows; on the other, if the average woman has to work twice as hard to accomplish the same things as a man, she has to work twice as hard as the average woman to be taken seriously and seen as more than just a pretty face. But somehow—somehow—she can’t quite bring herself to resent her looks, not when Sam gets that boyish grin on her face and calls her his “little blonde Republican sex kitten,” and the look in his eyes and the tone in his voice turns it into an endearment, one that lets her know that she’s always been so much more than that to him.

Besides, she likes how he blushes when she calls him her “Ivy League, pretty-boy bleeding heart.”

Yes. This is so true. All of this, every word.

Thank you so much. ♥
