I’m…all keyed up for some reason? And bored? So pick one of my icons and I’ll write a drabble-esque thingie for it? Possibly, if I get inspired? I make no guarantees?

Or hey, if you just want to prompt me, I’ll write you a three sentence fic? I don’t even know. Give me things to write and if they strike my fancy I will write them. If they don't, you will be disappointed. Either way, it distracts me.

She manages to keep it to herself for all of a day and a half, mostly by distracting herself by packing and planning and all of the other things involved in moving. But she really doesn’t have that much stuff (all of her heaviest baggage is of the emotional variety), and so she runs out of things to do by the next afternoon, and it’s all she can think about—that she and Spike are going to do this, and hopefully do it right this time, and there’s all this potential bubbling up inside of her, hope shooting through her veins and making her giddy and restless, and she has to tell someone before she bursts.

Dawn squeals and claps her hands and launches off into a ramble about where to get the best Italian takeout in town, and Buffy grins, feeling for the first time in such a long time that she’s really living, that between her jewel of a sister, the friends who will never abandon her, and this new thing with Spike, she might just be building a life for herself (it feels really…good).
