I actually don't think that Joss was mocking us? Kripke was, and I get the feeling that Dan Harmon was last night. But while Joss was exercising his sense of humor--which has always had a bit of a bite toi it--re: fandom in general, I don't think he meant to be malicious in any way. Of course, that's my opinion, but I'm not one to give him the benefit of the doubt on things. ;D

But I can see why you might feel otherwise.
