I'm race-swap casting Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

OMG Y'ALL I'M SO EXCITED. And I found the world's second best cheekbones! Move over, Marsters! I've found the race!swapped!Spike! (And lots of other people, but I'm most excited about finding Spike.)

I'm having an extremely hard time finding people for Riley and Oz and Faith. Extremely hard. But I will prevail! Because this is way, way, way too much fun!

THAT IS FINE WITH ME! I probably won't have her in the first installment (it'll just be the big characters), but when I have more time, I'm gonna do a villains/minor characters one, too, and she can totally be Olivia. Works for me! She's ridiculously talented.

I had a Jenny, but...all my Fringe-watching friends are obsessed with Astrid...so I'm going to reconsider. :D

Angel is not yet! I already have a few too many Brits-faking-American-accents, I thought, but I'll have to see if I can find a smaller role for her because she seems so ridiculously lovable. *ponders on this*

It's actually much easier to find women of color than men, I've found, at least at this age. Riley and Oz are killing me.

Right! I mean, to be fair, like 85% of the actors I am ever aware of are Brits (whoo stage actor stan whooooo), but my mind kept going to Jal, to that gorgeous girl in Misfits (Alesha?), to the stunning black Juliets & Ophelias I keep seeing cast opposite my pretty Brit pointyfaces of choice on the London stage...and then I was trying to think young Hollywood and came up with Glee references. GET OUT.

I mean, I just remembered Zoe Saldana exists, but it took for-goddamn-ever.

I like her FACE in things. No, she's mostly someone I've stanned through articles + photos because, um, she's a lovely human being with an awful filmography. But she owns in Sin City (and, like, is the least objectified person in that ridiculous movie—because, uh, Sin City is Frank Miller shit, Frank Miller of Whores Whores Whores fame) and I am seekritly~ rather fond of D.E.B.S., which is about schoolgirl-masquerading spies in femmeslashy love, so, you know, that.

I kept thinking that she was going to be in The Brothers Bloom (THIS, you should see, everyone should, OMG LOVE), but that ended up being Rinko Kikuchi—who is talented and gorgeous and, in the realm of Things I Am Excited For, is going to be Naoko in Norwegian Wood (are you a Murakami readerflailer? Murakami's writing = love).

But you understand the reason so many people think she is, what with Robia LaMorte playing her. Plus, most Americans would consider the Roma to be white, even if that isn't the most popular opinion in Europe (and even if it isn't really true*, since they originated in India).
