My all-time favorite TV single parents - I figure they do match.com with a very large match radius that spans from Neptune to Sunnydale, on the first date they both make euphemisms about the trouble their daughters get into, and Sunnydale could certainly use some good detectives in town . . . actually, when I planned this in my head, it was all about Joyce, Buffy, and Dawn trying to blend their family with Keith and Veronica - with Veronica becoming friends with Spike because of mutual snarkage (she does like those obligatory psychotic jackasses, you know - oh, and Backup likes Spike because Spike growled him into adoring submission - and Spike doesn't know why the dog follows him around so much), and Logan driving up the coast at midnight one night because he misses Veronica and stays with the family for a while (with Xander harassing Logan because he grew up on Aaron Echolls movies, and Willow creeping him out because she looks so much like Trina) . . . then they both enroll at UC Sunnydale.
