It's not a happy ship, not a "they're so good together!" ship, not like...any of the married couples on the list. It's a "I find their interactions fascinating" ship. I mean, obviously, Tony definitely took emotional advantage of her. It wasn't healthy. But it was interesting.
It's sort of like Pete and Peggy on Mad Men: Peggy is a thousand times too good for Pete, and I want her to find someone who would make her happy. But. I love to watch them interact, and I feel like there's a part of each of them that only the other would understand. I feel the same way about Tony and Michelle--there's something about each other that they just get. I think watching Tony figure out that she's an actual person and that he cares about her was really interesting; I think he learned a lot from her. I think she learned a lot from him, too, and I hope she finds someone who will treat her well. But she'll probably always think about Tony, you know?
Or Wes and Lilah. But they're just pure screwed-up awesome.
