I don't much like the idea of Buffy/Xander (mostly because I think Buffy would always feel like there was something more out there, which isn't fair to Xander--who I actually ended up liking in S7 for really the first time; he definitely finally grew up, and I loved that), but I definitely think they have a much better chance at a workable relationship than B/A. It's much more of a grown-up ship, I think.

As for Riley, every single time I start to think he isn't so bad, I stumble into molly_may's journal and find a poll asking us which Riley line we hate most and I think, "Wow. He really was a jerk."

And then I forget again, and then she reminds me again. It's a vicious cycle.
