Choose one of my icons (by keyword) and I'll tell you something about it. Or probably several somethings. In fact, I'll probably natter on a bit, because it turns out I'm a little obsessed with shiny graphics in small sizes.
It's been my default for a long time, though I changed it to [dh] why the caged bird for a while.
I love the coloring--the white and shades of gold with just that hint of blue. And the cropping: it's enough for us to know it's Buffy, without every seeing her face (I love interesting cropping). And it looks so lovely blowing in the wind here! I also like the use of text, that single word, smallish font. Because Buffy's a creature of both darkness and light, and it's always nice to see her in the sun.
Mostly it's because I have a Thing about Buffy's hair (just like Spike!). I just covet her beautiful, shampoo commercial hair.
It's my default because A) I need a Buffy icon for my default and B) it's just so pretty! I'm shallow. What can I say?
