Lists!!!

I revised my books list--I replaced individual volumes with series to get it right at 100 and added a few childhood faves I had forgotten. I'm much happier with this list!

[eta] I forgot Encyclopedia Brown!!!

I'm fascinated by Sword at Sunset as your one Sutcliff choice; what appeals to you about that in specific?

32/100! I can't remember what I got before, but I suspect it was fairly similar.

I keep thinking of new things for my lists, but I think I've spent enough time on them for now. :-)

37/100!

I love that you can put the whole New Jedi Order on there.

36! Though for a few of the series, I followed my heart on whether I'd read enough of the series to count it, if I'd only read some.

Delightful to see so many Robin McKinleys! And I'm interested that you went with A Face Like Glass -- why that, over other Hardinge's? (Though I see you did Gullstruck Island as well, which is one of my favorites of hers too.)

But oh, right, Encyclopedia Brown!! I forgot all about him, too.

(Hi! I hope it's okay for me to comment here as a total stranger.) I got 44/100, including 13 that are on my own list--plus I'm now kicking myself for not including Pippi Longstocking or Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle. Also, I too was once very into Encyclopedia Brown.

Nice to meet you! I've enjoyed reading your recent posts, and given that we seem to have extensive overlap in reading tastes, I'm going to subscribe. :)
