Hey, that's the same copy I have! I tried to order the one with Valancy in the white dress (you know, the one where Barney is inexplicably giving Robert Redford) but this is the one that turned up instead. Valancy looks bizarrely like my grandma on it.

Ha, I read a copy with that illustration, although a slightly different design, probably because it was a UK edition.

It's fun to see how UK/US editions overlap and don't! Sometimes the art is the same, sometimes it's startlingly different!
