I completely agree with your rant. And while reading the comments, it occurred to me that there are still probably a ton of Bangel shippers who honestly believe that Buffy *should*, to this day, love Angel more, and support the idea of them pining for each other all this time. Then I had a rage blackout and had to go drink some water for a while. (A rare occurrence, because I really could care less about what other people think usually, but said idea is so insulting to two characters I care deeply about that I will never not be baffled by it.) /own rant
