Yuletide nears!

Trying to decide what to nominate!

Here's what I'm definitely nominating:

And for my final slot...I don't know!

There's the old standbys: Life with Derek, The Guest, Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell, This Is New Gehesran Calling, James Asher vampire series, etc.

Some new ideas: I realize I've never requested Yentl and never has a movie needed a fix-it fic more than that one! Or perhaps Miss Silver series and request Miss Silver backstory?

Atm, I'm leaning towards asking for JS&MN worldbuilding or Yentl fix-it fic. But we'll see how I feel when I actually go to the nominate.

I'm mulling over Robin McKinley's Outlaws of Sherwood, 15th Century RPF (not sure that anyone else will nominate the character I want), Argylle (2023), Constantine (2005), Odd Thomas movie, a song by Priscilla Block, a painting I can't remember the name of right now, Fables - Willingham, Kings of Con... sigh.

It's always hard narrowing it down, isn't it? But I hope you get an Outlaws of Sherwood fic, because I would love to read it too!

Good luck! So hard to winnow it down, isn't it? I think it's likely I won't be able to do it this year, but I'm not sure, so I've still got to nominate in case. At the moment, my definite (which I've already put in) is The Winslow Boy (1999), which I ditched for The Lady Vanishes last year, so it needs its turn.

JSMN worldbuilding is a pretty good old reliable to fall back on!

I hadn't realised it had grown to have so many works, but I suppose that's not surprising, with it being a long time Yule-fave and then the TV series.

I am PROBABLY not going to request Fiddler this year but if nobody else puts a request in for specific characters, the postcanon dynamic I'm perhaps most curious about is Hodel and Chava when they're the only two daughters left in Russia.
