Dear Author,
Yay! Best exchange! (By which I mean: most tailored to my specific wants!) Thanks for writing for one of my fandoms--I hope you enjoy the process! I am certain that whatever you write, I will enjoy.
General preferences and thoughts: Whump is not really my thing--I want the comfort to be present eventually, but the hurt can last for a long time if you want (my favorite genre of fic is angst with a happy ending). Lean into the darkness if you want to, so long as there is light at the end.
I love mutual pining more than anything in the world, but I also really want to see the characters eventually realize their feelings are requited. I really, really love getting together fic.
I am fine with the hurt and comfort being either physical or mental/emotional.
I also love fic where one half of the ship goes kinda of apeshit when someone hurts their loved one. Especially if you contrast that with gentleness towards their hurt loved one. This isn't necessary--but just know if you want to write Attolia going all possessive and getting revenge on someone who hurt her husband or Seung Jun gutting someone who hurt Dan or whatever...I would be very into that.
I absolutely love canon divergence fic, but I don't enjoy true AUs--I do not want to read fic about the Queen's Thief characters in a high school or about Casey and Derek in space. (OTOH, you can add some kind of apocalypse to any existing canon, and that would be fine with me! Seo Dan surviving the zombie apocalypse? Sure!)
I do not want any actual "onscreen" rape, but any kind of "offscreen" or aftermath of actual rape is fine, as is threat/attempt. I just don't want to have to read about any of my characters actually experiencing it from their pov, okay? Though some non-consensual touching/threats or attempted-but-thwarted are fine to portray "onscreen."
DNWS: PWP (sex scenes are fine, so long as there's more going on), character-bashing, infidelity, "onscreen" rape/non-con (dubcon of the shag-or-die/sex pollen or we're-forced-to-have-sex-due-to-circumstances are okay if it's between mentioned ships, as are threats of noncon by villains), omegaverse, AUs that change the setting (no high schools, coffee shops, or superheroes, please!), unmitigated fluff (some fluff is fine, but please temper it with other things), humiliation, broad humor, OOC.

Look, Wangxian is made for hurt/comfort. I also lovelovelove WWX's relationship with his siblings, with the Wen siblings, and with the Juniors, so if you want to incorporate them in any way, please do! Obviously the "abusive parents" tag is a great opportunity to make Madam Yu the bad guy, which would be fun, but I do ask that you not make Lan Qiren the bad guy (I have a soft spot for the guy). He could start out being very anti-Wangxian so long as he softens a bit--I do think he'd ultimately want to see his nephew thriving, and it's clear that can only happen with Wei Wuxian by his side.
If WWX is the one who's hurt, I love the (canonical) way he disregards his own safety, downplays his own pain, assumes that he's the expendable one. It's my catnip to see the people in his life (whether his siblings or his love) say through their actions, "We love you so much, you are precious to us, we hate to see you in pain." But I also love seeing him Protect His People and LWJ being the one who's hurt would make me equally happy.
The freeform tags are just a starting point: basically I will read anything happening to either LWJ or WWX so long as the hurt one(s) get lots of comfort and love at the end. Go as dark as you want to with the hurt part, as long as it's balanced with quality comfort too!

Perfect OT3! This one doesn't have to be explicitly romantic/sexual if you don't want it to be, I just want all three of them together and loving each other! They're each others' people and no one else will ever understand any one of them the way the other two do! It's very important to me that, no matter what you write, that all three centered by the text--I don't want to see one neglected (lbr, it would probably be Gil Young, and that would infuriate me!).
There is SO much room for hurt/comfort in this fandom! And so many ways you can go: canon divergence, missing scene, time-skip scene, post-canon. Any of these would be great!
Some prompts:
+ Any of the three becomes possessed and taunts/hurts the other two. If you want to have them hurt each other, I ask that it not be too serious--no limbs getting cut off, no followed-through rape (though threats are fine), etc. Everyone needs to be able to physically recover eventually.

Maybe I should be embarrassed to even request this but I am NOT. The way these two are so obsessed with each other but can't admit it because of Reasons is so delicious. I would prefer not to have a real AU for them--the fact that they've been living together for years and have all this history is what makes this ship so appealing to me, so I'm not interested in a story where they aren't stepsiblings. Something set during the show or post-show would work equally well for me. And ideally this fic would be a "hurt/comfort leads to getting together" fic because that's my favorite.
Pretty much all of my other fandoms lend themselves to extreme situations; this one really doesn't. So it's fine if the threat level is pretty low (Casey is bullied?), medium (Casey has an abusive partner and Derek protects/saves her), or, if you really want to go crazy, high (idk, somehow Casey and Derek end up in a hostage situation and have to look out for each other and Derek is determined that Casey Will Not Be Hurt?). I just really enjoy Derek being protective of Casey.
If you want to write one or both of them feeling extremely guilty/angsty over the whole step-sibling, that's great, but it's also fine if you have them both say, "Screw it, we love each other."

+ Love the roofied idea. Can you imagine how angry Derek would get if someone did that to Casey?
+ Also can you imagine how freaked out Casey would be about an unplanned pregnancy? I imagine Derek calming her down, then taking her to get an abortion. Though if they're older and she thinks this is her only chance to have a kid, him deciding to raise it with her would also be great.

It would be super easy to rewrite the ending of this show so that they both survive but one or both of them is really hurt and we get some sweet, sweet comfort. But I am also open to canon divergence or even an AU of some kind that goes in a different direction than the show.
