It's so interesting how when we come to it determines how we use it. Like, you said the MFL feature wasn't working well when you first needed to mark for later, so you used bookmarks that way, which makes sense. Using a private/public distinction for bookmarks makes a lot of sense as a work-around too. Whereas I have never used the recommendation feature because by the time it was introduced (not so very long ago?), I had been using the bookmark feature for that since, like, 2009.
