Poor boy, he's a nervous wreck. Why is he there, again? Oh, yeah, comic relief! This made me laugh out loud. Literally.
I enjoyed how completely spun Dawn was by their conversation and the growing attraction. He may not have slept with Buffy, but Dawn's only 17 for goodness sake. Not to mention that Dawn hates him. Yeah, I definitely didn't want to go there when she was still so young. And the Immortal didn't either. He may be smarmy in a lot of ways, but he wouldn't do that.
As for Dawn hating him, well, I'm pretty sure that Buffy felt the same way about Spike at one point.... ;)
Spike and Buffy's reunion was vivid and emotional and wonderfully romantic. Yay! So glad you thought so!
