Bitterblue was so good, and also so sad. Not in a spoilery way, just in that I felt like the mood that pervaded the book was grief, over everything that had been done under King Leck. I kind of wish I had reread Graceling before reading it, just because it's been so long and I had forgotten a lot of the details.

I've seen a lot of lukewarm reactions to Brave, which is so disappointing given Pixar's track record.
