It was so well done. I just...I'm very fond of that show, despite the unevenness that has come upon it since S1 ended and also sometimes it's too meta for me. But I think Dan Harmon is saying some things on his show that haven't been said in mainstream media--things I only see said in fandom. And he loves fandom and shippers and fanfic, and I appreciate him a lot. And he gave me this episode which just...left me so raw, in a good way.

So yeah, it's something I definitely recommend. And I think it's awesome that the writers didn't start actually talking about/labeling Abed as on the spectrum until we'd already spent several seasons with him and loved him. Then they said, "And this guy that you love, he has this thing he's dealing with." There's a musical episode, and he has this throwaway line about how he wished the world was like a musical episode because then everyone would come right out and say what they were feeling instead of him having to try to figure it out. And it made my heart ache for him, but it was such a small moment, and they didn't make a thing of it, and it didn't feel preachy. It was just who this guy is.

ANYWAY. I have a lot of feelings on this. And I'm glad to know that my word-vomit about it made sense!
