I have a feeling here he's decidedly not-evil, but merely plastic because he's seen it all and nothing amuses him. Everyone worships him. Except Dawn. So now Dawn will intrigue him, relieve his boredom where no one else can.
My, my. Aren't you smart! No, seriously: having you say that is a huge relief for me, because that's totally what I was going for, and I was hopehopehoping that he wouldn't come across as too evil. I feel on track now!
