HOW DO YOU PLOT? HOW HOW HOW? How do you fill up all the pages between the Big Climactic Moments and the Little Significantly Emotional Moments? Like, what is all of that in between? I do not even know. Novel-writing is hard, you guys! Why do I have to want to write novels more than anything? Why can't my goal in life be something easy? Like sleeping the most? Because I have already attained that goal! Or watching the most television? Because I think I am pretty close! No! It has to be novel-writing! With the hardness and the plotting that I can't do! Ugh!

*goes off to try to outline, knowing I will fail*


[eta] This may not seem to have anything to do with this post, but it does because I found it doing research for my novel, and y'all should read this. OMG I LOVE PEOPLE.

Well, I guess it kind of depended for me. Usually I had a clear idea of what I wanted but didn't actually make an outline (this is tough now for when I go back to things I wrote like, 5 years ago and can't remember what I wanted) or I write a vague note of what happens each chapter. I'm not too much of a planner, though. In a lot of ways, I just made it up as I went along.

Sadly, I don't really write anymore. I might write a few paragraphs of something here and there, but the last thing I actually posted was last May.
