I LOVE the Outside POV idea, and also Crossovers, but I voted for Rare Pairs - which I'm assuming also means rare fandoms? Like, all of Yuletide, plus rare ships in big fandoms? 'Cause I totally wanna get my Heyer on.

I've written for exactly one ficathon before -- catbirdfish's woman-on-top one -- and it was fun, but I have no idea whether it's a repeatable incident. But I'd probably be willing to give whatever a try! :)

I know! I see so many I'd love to explore! Whichever one I end up going with this week, I'll revisit (or encourage someone else to) another at some point in the future.

I'm thinking I'll probably post on Friday, so that we have one weekday and then the weekend. That seems to work well.

I was just thinking about an idea for a ficathon, in which we write/do something different and original or rarely done. Like maybe a comic book fic using caps with bubbles to tell a fic, or even drawing a story with our favorite characters, writing a musical fic, writing a fic in the format of a play, making an art piece that tells a riddle, telling a story through a fanvid... etc. I'll be fun to come up with original ideas, even if they're not orginal but at least rarely used.

As for the poll options, I find myself interested with writing a ship I don't ship and writing about a ship through the eys of an outsider.

I don't understand the first option "Bechdel Test 2.0" What does it mean?

That would be fun! Though with those, it would probably be best to do them in a non-comment-fic form so that people could spend a little more time on them.

About a year and a half ago, I hosted the original Bechdel Test fic-a-thon, with the basic rule that the fic had to pass the Bechdel Test (women talking to each other about something other than a man and/or romance). It was incredibly fun, so I'm thinking of reviving it.
