still thinking about ficathons
Okay, let's vote!
Please only vote if you're willing to participate. This doesn't mean that you're committing to participating--if something comes up or if you suddenly just don't feel like writing, please don't feel guilty--but really if you're just planning on it. I know lots of people read these, too, and I love those people, but these things really only work if the people show up to write. So.

I skewed your stats in the second poll by voting for my favourites AND ALSO clicking the I'll Write Anything thing, but, seriously? My experience with your flist dictates that whatever you host will inevitably be awesome, and I am SO THERE.
When are you planning to start it, do you think?

I'm thinking I'll probably post on Friday, so that we have one weekday and then the weekend. That seems to work well.

which I'm assuming also means rare fandoms? Like, all of Yuletide, plus rare ships in big fandoms?
Oh, definitely. It would mean anything that doesn't have a bunch of fic for it.

Yay for the awesomeness of my flist!
Probably Friday? Gives me a couple of days to get things figured out, plus the weekend right after when more peopel are free.

As for the poll options, I find myself interested with writing a ship I don't ship and writing about a ship through the eys of an outsider.
I don't understand the first option "Bechdel Test 2.0" What does it mean?

About a year and a half ago, I hosted the original Bechdel Test fic-a-thon, with the basic rule that the fic had to pass the Bechdel Test (women talking to each other about something other than a man and/or romance). It was incredibly fun, so I'm thinking of reviving it.
