This is me coming back to say that I just reread this piece again, and still love it. So gorgeous! They're so much comfort to each other that I almost forget the horror of the world they're living in now. And I think the sex scene might be one of my favorites in the fandom, because it's understated and tender and hey, it even incorporates the title.
