This is a beautiful fic. I've been on a Jackie/Hyde kick this evening, and this fic really just sums up all the reasons why I loved and still love this couple so much and why it hurt so badly that the writers didn't let them end up together at the end of the show (as far as I'm concerned, they get it right later though...you can't run away from the secrets forever, after all).
I'm really impressed by the thoroughness of all these secrets. You hit on pretty much every aspect of who Jackie and Hyde are individually and who they are together. I loved how you hit on the brokenness of their childhoods, on how the stereotypes about them (the belief in government conspiracies and love for unicorns) has a deeper and hidden meaning that only the two of them know, on how the Formans are Hyde's family, and lastly on how the two of them are both aware of how much the other still loves them and how much both of them screwed up in their own way.
