Yes, this is why I love fandom. ♥ And why I can value shipping wars in all their ugliness because like you said, they really prove how much we care and while I hate it when they turn ugly I love the fact that there are people with enough passion to argue about it.

(Though I do of course wish that people would be more composed and not take things way past that certain point that they have a tendency to do.)
