well i haven't done an icon meme in a bit....
1. Reply to this post with "THE WEATHER'S DEFINITELY TURNED; I'VE ALWAYS LOVED THE AUTUMN," and I
will pick five of your icons.
2. Make a post (including the meme info) and talk about the icons I chose.
3. Other people can then comment to you and make their own posts.
4. This will create a never-ending cycle of icon glee.
Mine are from

Only scene I consistently watch in "Hell's Bells" because all the rest of them just make me too depressed/angry? YES INDEED. This scene is perfect. Mostly because it shows that Buffy and Spike can be gentle with each other when they need to be and also because BUFFY SMILES. Big, full smile. At Spike. Gah. I picked this icon in particular because I just love the cropping and what it says about these two--he's there, willing to follow her wherever. OH KIDS.

OMG BEST CROPPING. The way the icon doesn't seem to end when it's against a white background? So cool. And of course this scene is so great. It really establishes the sense of humor of the show (making fun of its own drama with the line about how Wallace feels like he's a scene from The Outsiders). And of course Wallace is the greatest BFF ever.

Simon Amstell speaks to me on a spiritual level. This is a line from Grandma's House (said to himself while looking in the mirror) and it pretty much sums up what I have to tell myself before I leave the house every morning or before I interact with any other person. I was feeling particularly cynical the day I uploaded it, hence the keywords.

I've actually been meaning to get rid of this one? It's a holdover from the days when I didn't question Joss Whedon so much. I still think the sentiment is a good one, even though I have LOADS of problems with his approach to gender and feminism. And it's red. I like red.

Lucrezia is the BEST EVER. I fell completely in love with her last season of The Borgias (COME BACK TO ME, SHOW!). I love this icon in particular not only because she looks so beautiful, but also because with the sun shining down and her looking so gentle and lovely, it creates a nice contrast for the steel she's discovering she has just beneath the surface. I love that tension between her really being young and pretty and (relatively) innocent and her figuring out that she has power. It's why I'm so invested in her story. Plus: pretty!
