McDiva and friends are deeply into Batman at the moment, so we watched this 1966 Batman movie (and a few others) last month with a half dozen teenagers. This scene is a classic. Nuns! Baby carriage! Salvation Army Band! Ducklings! I can't even remember what he finally does to dispose of the bomb, but: ducklings!
I'm pretty sure the movie is on streaming Netflix, for people who like the idea of a couple of hours of extremely silly camp. Cheese barely covers it. But hey: Catwoman. Rowr. Also worth watching, the second Tim Burton Batman movie. The one with Danny DeVito, Christopher Walken, and Michelle Pfieffer. Too bombastic at the end, but Michelle is delicious. Did I mention that there's been a bit of a Batman immersion around here?
And, oh yeah! I'm not down. Not even a little bit. I'm having too much fun to post, and planning to have even more soon. If I don't post tonight, though, I will have skipped an entire month. Tsk.
