Elyssa's love for Arthur/Gwen is making me want to give Merlin another chance. It's so cheesy and ridiculous...but...OTP. I just love me a good ship! And they look so very, very pretty!

um i think it gets started in s2; i can't remember any otp times in s1 off the top of my head but i've never rewatched. s2 is when shit gets PERFECT.

Ooh! I just watched the first 2 episodes of Merlin! I thought it was kinda cute. And the girl who plays Gwen looks SO much like one of my best friends! I just can't help but love her. That's probably not a good reason to commit dozens of hours to watching a show... but hey. I'm irrational.

But I'll talk about it with you if you do get into it!

Yes, and they're the best part of s1. Then the show sort of drops them for legendary OTPtime, but that's fine EVEN THOUGH I MISS THEM; OTP IN EVERY ITERATION OF THE LEGEND, OKAY because it's legendary and pretty and there are lens flares when they kiss. See, the show makes it easy!

Merlin is kind of a hot mess in terms of the writing, but the actors do a lot to make me really love their characters and their relationships. Merlin OT4 for life (though I'm partial to Arthur/Gwen and Merlin/Morgana, especially this season. When it comes to the latter most of it is my head canon but so much epic eye hate!sex).

I want a reincarnation show with no debate on the siblingness so they can have hot hate!sex. Sadly, this probably means I'd have to get into Hollywood and write it myself.
