Oooh. I like this. I seriously don't understand people wanting her to be with Xander--he's always demanded that she be strong and the hero. And she needs someone in her life who sees her as the hero, yes, but I can never see her being vulnerable with him. Perhaps he's changed loads in the comics, but he was always so judgmental of her whenever she didn't measure up to what he wanted her to be. I just don't see her feeling safe with him the way she would need to to really have a good relationship.
