People at my campus ministry were similar. But my campus ministry also literally SAVED MY LIFE (long story), and my love for them knows no bounds. My subsequent college experience would have been far less rich and fun without them drawing me out of my shell.

I had to learn how to do that, and it was hard! But ultimately rewarding for me. It was not something that came naturally, but getting involved at the diocesan level and being a youth minister slowly improved my ability to start conversation with new people and get people together.
