This is one of the things I've been trying to say to aforementioned church ladies. (*points up*) Because there is a big difference between going up and starting a conversation with someone who's holding a cup of coffee and going up to someone doing a jigsaw puzzle. One way, you get to discuss the jigsaw puzzle; the other way - unless you're both huge coffee geeks - you're stuck discussing your lives right from the outset.
