OMG WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON????

All kinds of spoilers for tonight's episode of Heroes.  All building towards the end because I wrote this commentary while I was watching.  So don't expect this to be anything like coherent.

The confrontation between Peter and Hiro totally broke my heart.  They’re both right.  And they’re both wrong.  And it’s sad.  Is it wrong that I kind of want to see the crazy apocalyptic world?  And that I desperately don’t want Adam to die in this episode?  If they can keep Sylar around for two seasons, they should keep Adam around for at least that long. 

Angela letting Matt know that he might have to kill Peter is crazy intense.  I never realized that that woman was so cold.  But at least she’s beginning to admit the truth to people.

I’d forgotten that Sylar would be in the apartment when Mohinder opened the door and my heart leapt up into my throat.  I almost feel bad for Maya finally figuring out the truth about Sylar—except that she just bothers me.  I’m so glad Molly is okay. 

AAAAHHH!! Noah is totally being Steve McQueen in The Great Escape!  I adore everything about that movie.  Elle’s interaction with Noah is great.  I adore everything about Elle, and I feel so bad for her now.  But Noah is right about Bob’s bad parenting.  I hope Elle realizes that. 

Adam with his sword = totally hot.  I’m in love.  I love him and Peter just walking in, so incredibly badass.

Mohinder’s back to his old self, glad to say. 

Ah! Elle’s trying to find out the truth about her past.  I am so proud of you, girl.

But still trying to make daddy proud—that’s so sad. 

Okay, what kind of idiot would let Monica keep her cell phone?  What an incompetent criminal.

Micah “telling” his cell phone to find Monica’s and changing the lights is totally cool. 

HAHAHA!  Matt flying around on Nathan’s back! Hilarious!

“Okay, we don’t talk about that ever again.”
“Agreed.” 

“Listening to my mother has never led to anything good.”  I love you, Nathan.

I didn’t realize Matt and Hiro had never met.  Funny.  I’d really missed Hiro and his throwing his arms up in the air.  He makes me so very happy.  “Flying man!”  Ah, glorious flashbacks to their first meeting at the diner.

Maybe this means West will be gone after this? *crosses fingers* 

The first time I’ve liked Claire in a really long time: “You won’t leave me, will you, Mr. Muggles?”

Daddy’s home! 

That is a really bad picture of Alejandro.  Poor Molly, having to tell Maya that he’s dead.  That’s just tragic.

Oh my goodness!  Sylar just shot Maya! They’re killing off both of the Wonder Twins?  I so did not see that coming.

“You and I have trust issues, Doctor.”  Great Sylar line.  And I’m not even that big of a Sylar. 

Oh, wait.  Maya isn’t really going to die.  Dang.

I love Noah.  Willing to sacrifice everything to keep his family safe.  He’s fantastic.  And so are his glasses.  

Wait, whose power is Peter using to open that safe?  I can’t remember.

I’m really glad that Adam isn’t going to kill Hiro himself.  But making Peter act all evil is not cool.  I like Adam when he’s evil, but Peter is good and that’s the way I like him. 

Oh!  Peter can resist Matt!  This part is way cool!

Hiro, I love you, but if you kill Adam, I will never forgive you. 

Peter, don’t you dare!

Oh my goodness!  The dropping of the virus!  AH! 

Oh, look at Peter saving the world again.  Good boy!

Please tell me that Hiro didn’t take Adam back to Japan.  I am so over that storyline. 

Did that really just work?  It was that easy to destroy the virus?  Talk about an anticlimax.

Okay, the flash of that symbol on Peter's palm was way cool. 

The little red light flashing?  Someone is so watching them.

I love it when the bullets pop out again. 

Oh my goodness!  Elle and Sylar duking it out!  GO ELLE!

Okay, why is Mohinder so concerned over Niki?  Didn’t she try to kill him a bunch of times or something?  At any rate, it’s not like they have any kind of relationship at all.  Shouldn’t he been at least as concerned over Noah and Claire?  This is confusing to me. 

Niki’s going to die.  Niki’s going to die.  Niki’s going to die.

She really just did.  She’s dead.

I don’t know how to feel about this.  I’m not that big of a fan of Niki—she’s one of my least favorite characters—but I definitely didn’t want her to die.  Especially because of Micah, poor boy.  Like Monica, I love that kid. 

OMG!!  HIRO BURIED ADAM ALIVE!  That is SO WRONG!  THIS CANNOT BE HAPPENING TO ME!

Kristen’s “Really?  Cool.”  I adore that girl. 

Wow.  Nathan can really give a speech.  This is a great development.   And the montage = awesome.  I love montages.  Love everything about them.

 

OMG!! NATHAN! WHO JUST SHOT HIM?

 

OMG!!!! IT WAS NOAH! BECAUSE HE’S TRYING TO PROTECT HIS FAMILY!

 

OMG!!! ANGELA JUST SAID IT WAS UNAVOIDABLE!

 

OMG!!! Sylar’s still alive and with his superpowers back?  THAT SUCKS!

So, let me wrap my mind around this.  One half of my OTP for this show has just been buried alive.  Literally buried alive.

My favorite character.  BURIED ALIVE!  BY HIRO! HOW CAN THEY DO THIS TO ME?

 On the upside, if Buffy can dig her way out of a grave, why can’t Adam?  I mean, he can heal from anything.  If he doesn’t come back, I’m going to go a little crazy.  Like, seriously.

I refuse to believe he's gone for good.  He isn't.  He isn't.  He isn't.  He isn't.  *sticks fingers in ears and sings so she can't hear reason*

 

That was one hell of an episode.  Seriously, everything I love about this show.  It's going to take me a long time to wrap my mind around all of this, though.  I really can't believe everything that just happened.  It's enough to make me curse, and I don't curse.

And now I have to go do homework?  You have got to be kidding me.
