"Did you pack Mr. Muggles's doggie bath?"

Finally!  Heroes is getting good again!  I just caught up with the last four episodes that I’ve missed, and now I’m totally into the show again.  Just like old times (old times being three months ago when I watched it for the first time).

Prepare for squeeing over two of my favorite shows.

The thing that I’m loving most about where the show is at at this point is this: I can’t decide who’s right.  Here are all of these people who I genuinely care about, and they all have conflicting goals.  I don’t know who’s right.  Is it Mohinder and the Company?  Is it Noah?  Is Peter going to be able to do what he needs to do, even though Adam is evil?  Everyone we love wants the same thing, but they’re all going after it in different ways, and at this point, I have no idea who’s right.  I love that.

And I really hope that they don’t settle the question of the Shanti Virus before the end of the season.  It’s a great storyline, and I don’t want them to rush it.  They can bring it back next season (whenever that is).  It’s just got so much potential yet.

Okay, the two major things I feel like I need to address:

1.  Kensei = Adam = still alive = evil = David Anders is hot!  Yeah, the last ten seconds of "Out of Time" were beyond awesome when he walked out and Peter saw him and I love him as the new bad guy.  I was really afraid that they were going to keep Sylar around as the main bad guy, but I love that they’re introducing new ones.  And Adam is going to be awesome.

2.  Noah kind of/sort of dying.  When the bullet hit his eye and he was lying on the ground and everyone thought he was dead, I was furious.  Because I was just getting into the show and I thought I wouldn’t be able to watch it anymore because I’d promised myself that if they killed Noah off, I wouldn’t watch anymore.  But then the incredibly awesome way that Mohinder brought him back?  I was freaking out!  It was glorious!

Now moving on to randomness about everything else:

I didn’t really like Kristen’s character at first, but now I think Elle is one hundred kinds of cool.  I worship the way she treats Peter and Mohinder like the pretty boy toys we’d all love them to be.  And her addiction to shocking Peter was funny.  I just really, really, really like her.  She's got a lot going on under the surface, too: Noah has raised doubts in her mind as to whether her father really cares about her or not, and I think she's going to come around eventually.  But even if she doesn't, I'll still enjoy her character.

And I’m totally the same person as

[profile] ava_leigh_fitz, because I totally came up with the Adam/Elle = perfect evil fun ship, too.  Expect fic.  Weird, twisted fic.

Peter losing Caitlin really broke my heart.  It’s not like I’m completely shipping them or anything, but he cares about her, she cares about him, she’s sweet and has a cool accent and appreciates him, so I care about her.  I really hope he finds her again.  And seeing him shirtless is always a good thing.  I really like Milo with this haircut.  It suits him.

Little boy Hiro = the cutest thing in the world.  I want one!

I’m so glad Hiro’s back from the past.  I was getting sick of that storyline, even if now I understand the point of it better.

I’m worried about Matt.  Really, really worried.  He should have listened to Angela.  I think he was right to try to rescue Molly and then lock up his dad, but he shouldn’t start using his power to make people do what he says.  That’s starting down the wrong path, and we all know that once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny.

Speaking of Angela, what is her power?  Is it related to remembering?  Is she the opposite of the Haitian?   Does everyone have an opposite?  Like maybe Maya is the opposite of Claire or something?  I think that would be really cool.

Finally finding out how D.L. died only made me love and miss him more.  Nikki totally doesn’t deserve him.  But Micah does, poor boy!

I hate Sylar for killing of Alejandro.  Alejandro was cool and a great brother, and I totally hate Maya worshipping Sylar all the time.  HATE!

I’m so annoyed with Claire.  And West.  He just really, really bothers me for some reason.  But I put up with them, because Claire means Noah.  And I still love him.  And I’m really beginning to like Mrs. Bennett a ton, too.  She’s cool.  And, of course, Mr. Muggles is awesome!

The “Four Months Ago...” flashbacks were way cool.  I adore the way that Nathan was healed—I never saw that coming, not in a million years.  And the way Peter ended up in the box—perfect.

I think that’s everything that I had something to say about.  If it’s not, I’ll be back later with more squeeing.

And now for the hotness that is Supernatural

Bedtime Stories:

Good episode.  I like the tying-in with the fairy tales.   I think it was well-written and executed, and that little girl was totally scary, but totally Snow White-like.

I also like that Dean hasn’t got a clue about fairy tales and that he thinks that Snow White is a porn film.  Because he would.

Dean:  “I’m gonna go stop the big bad wolf.  Which is the weirdest thing I’ve ever said.”  Oh, Dean, baby.  I really think it’s not.

The Crossroads Demon:  “Desperate, sloppy, needy Dean.”  Now, see, I never would have thought of describing him this way.  But it works.  He is all of those things.  And that’s why I love him so dang much.

When Sam killed the RED, though, I couldn’t help but think that the YED was right: he isn’t 100% pure Sammy.  There’s something else going on, because Sam doesn’t do things like that.  I really hope they do a lot of things with this plotline.

Red Sky at Morning:

This show just keeps getting better.  Awesome dialogue, awesome plotlines, and the special effects are better than ever.  The ghost ship is gorgeous and haunting and so well done.

Dean’s reaction to the Metallicar being gone = the greatest thing ever.  He’s about to hyperventilate or break down sobbing or something, and suddenly I’m falling in love with him all over again.

“Can I shoot her?”

“Not in public.”

Oh, Dean.  You’re so funny.  I’m actually beginning to really like Bela, even though I will always hate Ruby with the passion of a thousand burning suns.  I think it’s funny how great her and Dean’s chemistry is.  They are so going to end up in bed.

“You know, when this is over?  We should really have angry sex.”

“Don’t objectify me.”

Greatest exchange EVER!  OH MY GOODNESS!  I LOVE how awkward Dean is about his tux and how sexy and how he doesn’t know how to react and the crossing of the arms and the secret agent-esque music playing in the background and YUM!

And Sammy and the old woman!  *curls up and dies*

Bella’s hairdo is totally ugly.

Dean:  “You stink like sex.”  Oh, Dean.  Stop killing me.

And Sam called the old woman Mrs. Havisham!  Yay for Sammy and his random literary allusions!

Fresh Blood:

You people do not even know how excited I was when I realized that that really was Mercedes McNabb.  I started freaking out, and I’m pretty sure I yelled, “Harmony!” out loud.  Although I can’t decide if it annoys me that they had her as a vampire or not.  I know I was super annoyed that they killed her off so early in the episode.  At any rate, she made me really happy, just by showing up.

And I thought it very poetic that that guy’s ultimate revenge was making Gordon a vampire.  That’s the one thing Gordon would never be able to live with.  Great stuff.

I’m madly in love with the way Jensen’s eyes crinkle at the edges when he smiles.  It’s so insanely adorable.

“Whoa, whoa, kamikaze?  I’m more like a ninja.”  Oh, Dean.  You would.

Sammy’s little speech about how he knows Dean better than anyone was just too dang adorable.  I love these boys.   So much.  I nearly teared up.

I also love when the boys are noble and can’t let innocent people die.  They just can’t.  It’s so ingrained in them, and I love that about them.

The ending with Dean teaching Sam how to take care of the car just broke my heart and warmed it all at the same time.  He is the greatest big brother ever.  If I didn’t want to marry him, I’d want him to be my big brother.

So, yeah.  Looks like I'm getting back into the swing of TV again, right when it's all about to go off the air.  Here's to the strike being over as quickly as possible with the writers getting as much money as possible.

Also, I'm obsessed with this icon.  Isn't it gorgeous?  I'm in love with the colors.  And Kristen is pretty.
