yeah, it's monday
So some of you will be pleased to know I have a doctor's appointment on Wednsday. So hopefully good will come of that.
In the interval, while I still can't work up anything like the emotional energy to wade through comments and actually, you know, reply (love me anyways!), let's do this, shall we? (stolen from

Also, I don't have much to say about True Blood except that I've missed Jason Stackhouse's face and was pleased to have it on myTVcomputer screen again. Also, Jessica and Hoyt. They better be endgame, is all I'm sayin'. And Lafayette. And Terry and Arlene. And Pam. And Andy. And...that might be it.

I think it's inevitable that as we read each other's journals we create mental pictures of each other. Post this on your own journal to find out who your friends see when they read about your life.
Two Rules:
1) The person must be in the movies or on TV (but doesn't have to be an actor/actress). The person can be specific to a role or character or just the person.
2) Post a picture.

In other things, I included you in my big group email update - I hope you don't mind.

I don't mind at all! I saw it just now, and I can't wait to check it out tomorrow. Thanks for keeping me updated!

And she looks so pretty there!

Srsly, my current mental image of you is blond hair, half-open mouth and no eyes.
(I am penguin, hear me squawk)

Trying to remember if you watched Everwood. I think you'd like it if you don't. The picture's not great quality, but that's Hannah, one of the best characters.
Also, I went to a counsellor today to talk about anxiety! Your post last week inspired me.

You are tall, thin, Asian, have light brown hair and an Aussie accent... no? :)

Yes, my hair needs to be taken into account. :p Do you have any idea how hard a time I've had finding an actress who remotely resembles me and is close to my age? I've been meaning to do the Cast Your Life meme forever, but I seriously can't find anyone who fits. The closest I can come is Emmy Rossum, and I don't think she can act.

Oh, good! I'm glad I could inspire! I hope it helps!

Let's see. Average height, thin, very white, darkish brown hair, and a Southern accent.
:D

And having just watched a movie with Emmy Rossum, I can say with confidence that your instincts about her acting are correct.

Was the movie good?

I actually adore Mila Kunis. She looks nothing like me, but I think she actually could play me. I also think Deborah Ann Woll would make a good me--she can do spazz and angst and joy like I can. Also, Lenore Crichlow, who actually does have curly hair. (See icon)

It's weird how many people I encounter who look like actors, though. One of my college roommates is weirdly AmyAcker-like (she got me to watch Angel by saying, "There's a character who's exactly like me!"), there's a guy on my bus who looks like Harry Lennix, and I have weekly meetings with D.B. Woodside and Alona Tal lookalikes. It's kinda creepy.
Now I kind of want to do a Cast Your Life meme, except it wouldn't be as fun since none of you know my family and friends...

I love that game!
Is D.B. Woodside look-alike single?
It's actually still really fun. I always enjoy it!
no subject
Haha, I don't know. I've never talked to him.
Now you've got me thinking about this! (the cast your life meme, not DB-lookalike)

DO IT!
I think I might have a poll: Who Should Play Me? Because I have most everybody else in my life cast....
no subject
YES! Awesome.
I have a hard time casting my parents. I'd totally pick Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton (they even have the right hair!), but they'd have to play my parents 15 years ago, lol.

Do you like existentially angsty cybertech books? Say, William Gibson or some of Neal Stephenson's stuff?
