I never liked Mara Jade as a romantic character :/ I thought she was interesting as is, but I guess in scifi a girl always has to be paired with someone if she's going to stick around never mind that they killed mon mothma because they couldn't manage that. And I loved Callista as a character and thought she has such a positive connection with Luke and then the guy who wrote MJ just wrote Callista out of the series like she didn't matter.
