In fairness, I do think there are a lot of people who are ambivalent about it, and they talk about it a lot on the internet, so it probably creates the impression that this is a majority view when I don't think it is. Those of us who feel strongly one way or another simply don't write endless thinkpieces or write into advice columnists about whether or not to have kids.
