*squees and flails with you* This post is made of win! If I wasn't already watching, I'd be hunting for the episodes right now! :D
"I am a sucker for domesticity. So this show gets me. Because Annie and George and Mitchell are adorable and hilarious and adorable again and I love them."
*nods vigorously* What these three share together is true and deep friendship. And they are a family. And I love them for it!
"it's nice sometimes to see a female character who is strong but is also not physically imposing and who has the stereotypically girly emotions."
This. Absolutely!
"George is awesome. OMG the way he squeaks! I love it! He's so neurotic and funny and when he does the Big Brave Thing at the end of the season I just want to huggle him! I thought he would annoy me, but he does not! Instead, he makes me happy"
I LOVE GEORGE!!!! That squeak is adorable!! And the ears. The Ears! It's amazing how his character is so funny and so tragic at the same time. I enjoy how Russell Tovey can switch between those two things in a blink of an eye, if/when necessary. His performance delivers the different layers of George wonderfully!
"Fantastic pacing, show. Fantastic."
Much agreeage. Again! It's always a pleasure to watch a show by talented, ambitious and enthusiastic writers, who know exactly what they want and what they are doing! :)
Would squee more, but I have to get back to work now...
