This is fascinating, thank you for sharing. I've been called twice in my county/city, and it was completely different. I never even made it to voir dire or to any kind of interview. A bunch of us had to come in (nowhere near 300), and after a while of waiting, some were taken to another room, but the rest of us, including me both times, were dismissed, and that served as completion of our jury duty and we didn't have to call in again for the rest of the week.
