I just finished it and it was so good! If I'd read it as a teen, I would have been SO obsessed with it! And I really am gobsmacked by how amazingly he writes a teenage girl!

I can understand why people are really into the Temeraire books, but they were lacking in that little oomph that really makes me latch onto a book? However, someone told me that in a later book one of the dragons gets elected to Parliament and...if anything is going to change my mind, it's that!
