They are so interesting and depressing! This dude stole literally hundreds of works of art and had them all in his room at his mom's house and when he was arrested, his mom threw all the ivory, silver, and other harder materials into the river (they were mostly recovered and were fine) and then BURNT ALL THE OIL PAINTINGS!!!!!

While I was reading it and I could sense a terrible revelation coming, I was saying, "Oh no oh no oh no oh no" out loud to myself and then at the reveal I was just heartbroken!!!
