It's such a stark journey! Like chestnut_pod said, even if you just stick with the Earthsea stuff, it's impossible to miss! I really can't think of anything analogous to it that I've seen, and it really gives me a lot of hope that I can grow too!

I love her and yet. She never really grew on that front. Even on the rare occasion a female character is the supposed protagonist of a Sutcliff book, she still manages to be a cipher!
