I would love a remake of The Proposal that actually gets Alaska right! I love the romantic premise, I love Sandy B and Ryan R’s snarky chemistry, but I cannot love or even really enjoy this movie because its Alaska is just the East Coast with mountains photoshopped in and it doesn’t get the vibe at all. (And please do not get me started on the portrayal of Alaska Native culture … and Lil Jon ……. 🤦‍♀️ My soul curdles forever.)
