I'm so excited to participate in this particular exchange! I think I will be easy to please, so while I've included a few prompts and thoughts about what I like generally in each fandom, I do want to encourage you to follow where your muse takes you. In my experience, writing is the most rewarding part of participating in an exchange, and I hope you feel that way about writing for me. Thank you for loving one of my fandoms!
General preferences and thoughts:
My main request is that you not change the canon setting for the fic (i.e. putting the Queen's Thief characters in high school or the CQL characters in a coffee shop). On the other hand, canon divergence is my favorite genre of fic, so if you want to write something based on just about any "what if" you can think of, please do!
DNWS: PWP (sex is fine, but I don't want to read straight-up porn), character-bashing, infidelity, "onscreen" rape (attempted-but-thwarted is okay), AUs that change the setting, unmitigated fluff (some fluff is fine, but please temper it with other things), insta!love, humiliation, bathroom humor, OOC, baby fic (meaning fic that focuses on the ship having/adopting a child. Incidental children are fine. The one exception to this is Ona/August).
General likes: angst, especially if it ends happily; hurt/comfort; mutual pining; in character characters; complicated relationships between women; friendships; good worldbuilding; longfic; characters having conflicting viewpoints/moral perspectives but neither of them being wrong; outsider povs; location/setting as character; good people trying to do the right thing; bad people trying to do the right thing; found families; total devotion/us against the world dynamics; anything that explores religion or faith thoughtfully; politics/intrigue.

Also into exploring how Wen Qing's complicity in the Golden Core thing might affect a potential relationship. And anything that involves this dynamic after they finally get together.
I'm fine with dark!fic--maybe Wen Qing takes over the Wen sect and then claims Jiang Cheng as her warprize or something. I just want them to love each other!

I would commit murder for something along those lines. Bonus points if Irene goes all possessive and destroys whoever hurt her husband. There's so much you could do here with assassination attempts! I love a good assassination attempt! Or any kind of AU where they have some sort of arranged marriage would be fun.

Maybe I should be embarrassed to even request this but I am NOT. The way these two are so obsessed with each other but can't admit it because of Reasons is so delicious. I would prefer not to have a real AU for them--the fact that they've been living together for years and have all this history is what makes this ship so appealing to me, so I'm not interested in a story where they aren't stepsiblings, though anything canon divergent is fine. I just like watching these two be absolutely unhinged over each other.

I take seriously what Ona says about not being herself if she got married. However, they can be in a committed romantic/sexual relationship, just not marriage.
However! If it's an AU where they have some sort of arranged marriage, I would love that!
This is the one couple where it's fine to me if they don't end up together romantically. If August just keeps pining, that's cool, but I do want Ona to love him in some way, even if it's completely platonic.
