They literally could have included one extra scene or a handful of lines scattered throughout to establish why Biomom is a bad idea for Minister of Justice (or whatever). It would have taken almost no effort! But by not doing that, they imply that she'd make a bad minister because she is a "bad" mom? Even though the point is that she didn't want to be a mom at all? UGH.

Yes. I understand the impulse of wanting to have it both ways--I am guilty of that impulse myself! But I am at least self-aware enough to know that it never actually works! This is one case where you truly do have to pick a side!
