Ha! It's true! Maybe after Yuletide I'll take a whack at it!

Speaking of which, I started actually writing it, and I'm surprised at how easily it's coming. I mean, I've only got about eight paragraphs so far, but it's working for me. Plus I've come up with some more twists, and the fic I'm envisioning is becoming eerily about post-colonization, in addition to the whole "technology under attack" thing that we sort of kind of talked about. But it's silly. Really silly. So we'll see how it works.
