Dawn is also one of my favorite characters. I think I mainly love her though is because she was truly the first friend that Spike ever had. She gave him a chance as he did her. They were both trying to figure out who they are at the same time. Spike with trying to change his ways and him dealing with his feelings for Buffy. Dawn with finding out that she is the Key and just being a teenage dealing with her sister being a Slayer. The relationship of Spike and Dawn is one of my favorites relationships in the Buffyverse. Just very disappointed that they never made up during the last season. That we never really got anymore Dawn and Spike moments after that. So, very pleased to see them make up here.
If you do write the Dawn and Immortal story then I wish you luck with it. I will pass on it because reading about Dawn with the Immortal doesn't interest me. Though you don't need me since you seem to have so many people interested in that story. Good luck with it.
I'm just a Spike whore. Only really interested in stories where Spike is one of the main characters. Never actually read a story where Dawn is the focus of the story like this one. I guess that is a big credit to you. You are just good like that.
