I really don't think you should have to do that--to me, the solution is for us to talk about how we use functions differently so that we don't make assumptions about motives. Not that you have to bear the brunt of that--if you want to delete them, that's of course up to you--I can understand if the whole thing is frustrating enough that you'd rather just opt out.
