Yeah, they're not romance in the Harlequin or even Courtney Milan kind of way--they would be in the regular fiction section of the bookstore for sure. But she's quite hard to categorize--sometimes the way she writes feels more like early- to mid-century 20th century middlebrow women's fiction. Which is a genre I really like tbh.
