I haven't read any of Ibbotson's romances for aaaaaaaaages but this post has me curious to revisit them sometime and see what I think. For some reason, her kids' books are the ones I've read more recently! Still recovering from the one that was basically the premise of BBC Ghosts but the villain was a deranged and disgusting Hitler fangirl. AKA the kind of kids' book that simply would not get published today! (I assume.)
